Guest guest
I saw a similar post a few weeks ago, but could not find it. Let me preface this with a quick note: we use cranial tech and have been happy with that decision- we have found the techs to be knowledgeable and have been happy with our decision and the progress that has been made. I do have a concern that I would like opinions on- sometimes you start to worry that the things that you see are just in your head My daughter, Emmie, is at the end of her treatment. She began treatment at 5 months, and she is now almost 6.5 months. We saw a lot of improvement, but I'm worried in the last week or two that her head has become narrower because she's outgrowing the band. The tech that we see mentioned that this could happen, and we needed to be aware of any pressure spots (redness that did not fade within an hour). She has had a pressure spot on her forehead each time that we've removed the helmet, but it's usually gone within 30-45 minutes. I contacted CT with my concerns today, and they said that it's highly unlikely that this is the case- that it was probably a soft tissue issue and that as her head adjusted to not having a helmet on it, it would look fuller. We have an exit appointment tomorrow, where I think we will find out more. I wonder if the angle of the photos comes into play here? I'm just trying to figure out if this is in my head or what. Please look at the pictures and let me know what your opinions are- they are under " Our Plagio Babies- E " and at the very end of the album- I have labeled them so that the progression is clear: today, last week, three weeks ago. Thanks, I appreciate it!
