Will head become more round after band is removed?

My son has been wearing his band for almost four months and his head look good.

We are thinking of not continuing with the band because his head looks pretty

good, not perfect and he is in the process of being evaluated for possible

neurological disorders. So we are less concerned with his head being " perfect "

and more concerned about finding out what is going on with him. His neurologist

thinks his head looks " normal " . I'm wondering if anyone know if a baby's head

will become more round after discontinuing the band.
