Guest guest
Hello!! My son is 8 months now and has been going to physical therapy since he was 4 months for torticollis, After 4 months of therapy, and now wearing the STARband for plagiocephaly, I have noticed that turning his head from side to side has improved tremendously, he can literally look over his shoulder now, but sometimes I still notice him tilting his head to one side, my mother instinct is telling me that at this point PT is not doing much. I took him for an evaluation with a chiropractor that has treated babies with severe torticollis in the past, I want to try this chiropractic therapy. Has anybody heard about treating torticollis with a pediatric chiropractor? Honestly I have not heard of head tilting to the other side, but I feel very confused with my son because sometimes, when he feels like it he will hold his head up straight but sometimes he'll tilt it to the left, that's why I want to start trying something different with the chiropractor. Another thing I will have checked out are his eyes, I've read many articles that the head tilting has to do with an eye condition so I will take him to a pediatric ophthalmologist for an evaluation.
