Positive BCBS Insurance Experience

Hi All,

Just a note of hope for those of us working to get insurance to cover plagio

treatment. My provider (BCBS)originally denied coverage. I called and talked to

a manager and got it covered on the phone without having to submit a written

appeal.

My daughter's plagio was affecting her eye socket growth and vision. Our letter

of medical need was from a pediatric neurologist. Not only did we get it

covered, but the folks on the phone were really nice.

I don't know if I just got lucky or presented my case well, but the provider

received payment and we consider ourselves blessed. My thoughts and prayers to

all those working to get this important issue covered.

This morning Janey (10 months old)finished her Starband after 3.5 months and we

had amazing results.
