Do I need a prescription? Can it be from the ped? Or can we go directly to CT?

Hi - I'm new to this board and so glad to find it. My daughter is 5 months old

and has clear brachy-type plagio. Flat head, bulging temples, etc. We've tried

respositioning and are ready for the helmet. Do I really need to see a

specialist, or can I have the pediatrician write a script for the helmet? Or

can I just go straight to the Cranial Tech place? Their website didn't say

anything about needing a script. I doubt my insurance will kick in so I'm

trying to figure out the most expedient route.

Or should I get the script just in case?
