Hello Sandy

My son had brachycephaly and our insurance denied us BCBS of TX due to being out

of network (Cranial Tech). My husband and I appealed we just heard back from

them a week ago w/ a check for reimbursement. Do your research and try to find

out where has your insurance paid for coverage. For instance when we were

denied, through research I found BCBS of AR, CA, NY & so on has paid for the Doc

Band. Write an appeal letter & have your therapist and pediatrician write a

letter and send back up information in regards to the band. Once its sent out

stay on them call them and find out an update. Good luck

out there that had success in getting insurance coverage for the band.
