5 week update...... My son turned 8 months today, and he had an appointment

yesterday with his ortho. He has been in his helmet for 5 weeks. He was 6 3/4

months old and his measurements were 20mm, in 2 weeks and 3 days of wearing the

helmet 23/7 he went to 13mm, and at 5 weeks he is now at 11mm. He slowed down a

lot this time but he was out of room, so at his appointment yesterday the helmet

was shaved almost completely on the left side where is was noticeably flat. We

will see at our next appointment how things have changed he will have been in

the helmet 8 weeks at that time. He does have a little red spot on the back of

his head where the spacer was it looks like it broke the skin. Our ortho told us

to keep and eye on it and keep triple antibiotic cream on it, and the spacer was

removed. It is amazing how things have changed in 5 weeks... Fingers are crossed

that the good work keeps up.

If you are comfortable sharing the location, sometimes people are looking for

references and can search the messages or good or bad feedback.

,

We go to Hanger in Kansas City Kansas, Thom is our ortho and he is awesome.

He has done many many helmets and he knows his job well. On the other hand I

have had problems with the receptionist & how she handled my insurance etc... I

had previously posted what happened, and I had to contact cooperate office about

her also I posted the results on that. All in all Thom has done a wonderful job,

and I have heard that most will have great results if your ortho is good.
