My daughter had brachy (flat in back with extra width) and was severe when she

started at 5 mo. She wore a starband for 5 mo, and got good correction, but her

head is not perfect. At 20 mm you may be in the same boat, but you are starting

at a good age to see a lot of change.

20mm a few weeks ago and I think it has gotten worse since then despite our best

efforts. He will be 5.5 months when he gets his helmet. Will it completely

round out the asymmetry? Has anyone has children with plagio this severe? His

ears aren't even the same height anymore. I know we are doing all we can for

him - I just want to be prepared for the outcome, good or not-so-good. Please

share your stories with me if you have had similar experiences. Thanks for any

insight!

Our daughter was at 18mm at about 5 months and she was put in a hanger helmet at

6 months. After wearing the helmet a little over 3 months, she is now down to

7mm. Her ears have also aligned as well and her head shape has remarkably

improved.

I believe you will definitely see big improvement.

My son started at 20mm, at 6 1/2 months. He has wore the helmet for 3 months ans

is 8mm. He is still wearing the helmet as we hope to get closer to 0. Hope you

have good luck like we have.
