Guest guest
I am located in Illinois and my almost 8 month old just received his helmet. I am very interested in getting in contact with this company! Please send me any information and their location! Thanks! Jess > > My 4 month old son has Plagio and was recently put in a doc band. Soon after we found out about his diagnosis, like many I was very anxious about how he would do, how other people would react, etc. I read about people going to 360 wraps in Dallas to have their kids doc bands wrapped and figured maybe I could find somebody locally to do it since we live in Illinois. I sent out a few emails to different companies but most were either ignored or I was just told flat out no, they weren't willing to do the work because it was a medical device. There are a few companies that I know will do them, but not everybodies experience with them are the greatest. I received back one email however from a company called Vinyl Touch Graphics. They were very interested, and yesterday they finished Owen's helmet. It looks great. Not only are they some of the nicest and accomodating people I have ever met. They want to reach out and help other families too. Check out their facebook page or their website. I can give direct contact info and any other details you want. I am interested in how many families in the Illinois area would like to benefit from their services however because they would love to get a not for profit organization established to benefit this cause. Like I said, you couldn't ask for a better group of guys. > Thanks, > Jen McMillin > I will post pictures as well! >
Guest guest
- The name of the company is Vinyl Touch Graphics. I would ask for Tony Lanzito or Mike Carpino. Tony is the owner and Mike was the designer. They are in Elmwood Park. They had never heard of Plagio and Owen's band was the first they had done. Call them and tell them I gave them your number. He was actually upset I hadn't given out his number until we got the band done. He was hoping to start helping families right away. We are going to the Oakbrook CT facility and he wants to meet with them so more people will know he is there to help. The phone number is 708-452-2815. I don't know where you live or which band place you go to but they are very accomodating and came to my mothers house to do the measuring and then the install. I don't know, now that they have seen the band and done one if they need to really do a measurement for each one they do or if now they can just do it all in one visit. I will be talking to him later today. I also don't know cost specifics as he is in the process of setting up the not for profit but has not done so yet. Don't let that stop you from calling. I am going to ask him about that too. Again, they are a great group of guys that just want to help, and the more people that call and ask for help, the more he will do to help. He has some big name clients and is working to get them all on board. He does the bus wraps and Great America, etc, check out his facebook page. He also has great media contacts and we are working together to bring awareness to the general public. If you have any questions, let me know. Also, let me know after you talk to him how everything goes. I would like to know if you have the same read on him as I got. Thank you for your interest, and please continue to pass the word, so he believes me when I tell him how great the need is for awareness, financial support due to insurances not covering, and also his graphics services in our area.
