Guest guest
I was wondering how long it took for your little ones to adjust to their bands especially at night. My lil guy has been a good sleeper and is usually exhausted by bedtime that he falls asleep very quickly. Today it took him almost 2 hours and that was with a lot of rocking and feeding. Just wanted to know how long it took some of your little ones to adjust. BTW- This was his first night wearing it. Thank you!
Guest guest
My dd had a hard time adjusting at night too. I was nursing, so for us co-sleeping helped her sleep because she could smell us and nurse if she got fussy. Guest guest
Hi, Our son started the helmet on his 6 month birthday, and I had the very same question. It seemed like prior to the helmet he had been sleeping 5+ hours at a stretch and all of a sudden started waking up every 2 hours to nurse. I struggled with determining if his waking was due to the helmet or a sudden growth spurt. After about 2 weeks, he went started sleeping longer stretches. He is still in the helmet, but does not seem to mind it during the day. So I think it is fair to say that the change in sleep pattern was due to a combination of helmet and growth spurt. He adjusted a lot faster to the helmet than I thought he would - we have too. And I am sleeping much better since he started the helmet - I no longer wake up worrying about repositioning him. Hang in there -one day he will all of a sudden just adjust. Eli - 9 months > > My dd had a hard time adjusting at night too.
