Guest guest
Hi all, I am an American in the UK, but interested in this group because I have noticed my daughter's flat head since birth. She was 1 month premature, but has always been a great night sleeper. She has been sleeping on her back and 10-11 hours at night since 6 weeks. I recently moved her from a moses basket (like a crib) to a pack and play so that she can move her head, but her head is so flat that it sits perfectly straight (as if she is looking at the ceiling). She is only 2.5 months- (or 1.5 month corrected) but I put her on her tummy all day. We don't have a car so we don't spend much time in a car seat, and put her on her tummy in a flat pram style stroller. She is on her back for diaper changes and some play time. What do you think? Does this seem severe? Do I just continue repositioning (esp) at night until 5 months? I will have to pay for the complete helmet out of pocket since national healthcare won't cover it- about $3000. Her CI seems about 92.3%.
