Guest guest
Hi all, I've been lurking for a while, and we just had our " evaluation " with the CT folks. We'll be getting a band in the next week or so (moderate/severe plagio and brachy). My 17-week-old has *finally* started sleeping better, and we've spent a lot of time training him to sleep on his own. I'm going back to work full-time in two weeks, and am terrified that we're going to get no sleep once this starts. Has anyone had sleep regression problems when their DC started wearing the band? My son hates anything on his head at all (could never lay in a sling, rips off all hats, etc), and so I'm worried that we're in for a a couple weeks of misery until he gets used to the feeling of the band on his head. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! --Amy
Guest guest
My son was the same way. Hates things on his head, hats, etc. Since the moment he pt the helmet it has been completely a non-issue. i am amazed. Sleeping has been fine, it took him a few days to go back to sleeping on him belly but he now sleeps anyway he pleases. When we take the band off he immediately picks it up and puts it to his head. They were fast friends. Hope you have a similar experience. Karin my son Levi has been banded for a week and a half
