My daughter wore a DOC Band for seven weeks (banded at 4.5 months) and it helped

a little. They were off by about 5 mm pre-band, and after seven weeks, they were

a little more lined up (by about 2 mm since her skull base asymmetry was 3 mm

when she graduated).

I've also heard that the physical therapy for tort can really help with facial

and ear asymmetry as well.

Good luck!

are pretty uneven due to the plagio and tort. I don't expect them to be 100%.

I am just hoping there is a significant improvement. Hopefully some of you can

share your experiences with this :)

I am glad that some of you have some positive feedback on this topic. We are doing physical therapy which has helped some, especially with her eyes. Hopefully the band will help even more :)

Thanks,

My daughter has been wearing her helmet just for naps and night time for the

past month, so I can see (and study) her head like I haven't been able to do for

4 months in the helmet. This may be unrelated to the plagio, but her left ear

and eye seem slightly lower than her right. The right side was the bossed side.

Her CVAI is down to .3 and her CVA is just .5 mm and the scan shows almost

perfect symmetry left to right. She never had Tort.

There are a few possibilities:

1. Could I be seeing things?

2. Is this related to the Plagio, and if so, will it resolve? or

3. Is it just the randomness of nature that I would never have noticed if I

weren't painfully aware of baby head shapes?

Has anyone else ever had this experience?
