Guest guest
Hi , My tick bite was on the top of my scalp, (I heard the little suckers climb to the top and then stop,) even though my bite and initial HME/HGE/Lyme infection began in Aug 96, I still am plagued by lumps at the site of the bite, whenever I herx...which is pretty much monthly. The swellings at the bite have ranged from the sizes of half a lemon, to half a grapefruit, from the top of my scalp, going toward the nape of my neck. But that is not the extent of it. My scalp is full of lumps in other spots of my head, pretty much all the time now. I still have enlarged lymph nodes at the right side (same side as bite) of my neck, just where the skull and neck meet. It is very frustrating. Guest guest
, I believe that I was bitten on top of the head, and find that when symptoms flare so does my lump. Not sure if it is the sight, but I would almost bet on it. I will be eager to see what others write. Take Care Amy
Guest guest
No lumps here but I can only remember one bite and it didn't even latch on - it just bit me and couldn't get attached quick enough and I brushed it off my ear. It bit inside the outer part of the ear where the cartiledge (sp) meets to form that crevice that you have to use a q-tip for. Whenever I am feeling bad that part of my ear hurts really bad and still to this day I can use peroxide there and it still bubbles and sometimes burns!!!! Is that wierd or what? I don't think it is placebo do you? I used peroxide there for two weeks after the bite and it bubbled everytime. This was a dog tick too. I am sure I must have been bitten at other times unknown but this was the only one I knew. I thought you weren't supposed to feel a tick bite - this sucker hurt!
