19mo old in DOC band...not working

My son got his band at 17 mo. He is now 19mo and we haven't seen much

improvement. We got the band late because so many Drs told us it would round

out on it's own. It did not. We went with the band knowing it would not make

his head perfect BUT we've seen such little improvement Im making an appt to see

a craniofacial surgeon. his eye has become asymmetrical and his ears also. Has

anyone reached this point and what is the outcome? Did anyone go with surgery?
