Once the torticollis is resolved, those facial bones can grow more symmetrically

- it is absolutely possible for facial asymmetry to get better with time as long

as the torticollis is effectively treated. Facial bones grow slowly, however,

and the fuller cheek with just tort (assuming there's no plagio) may also be

tissue related, so even after the tort is resolved, it will take a while before

you start seeing improvement to facial asymmetry. (I was told that usually by

age 3, there's significant improvement to this kind of facial asymmetry from

tort.)

My daughter still has the fuller cheek too even though her tort is VASTLY

improved. I think the tort also affected her jaw on her tort side, so I'm hoping

with time it grows more symmetrically too.

Best of luck,

this. Is this reversible? Does PT correct this problem, or just prevent it

from getting worse?
