Issues with the new band

My daughter just got her second DOCBand (11.5 months old)

1)she is sweating like crazy. I have the heat set for 65 degrees and she's

walking/crawling around in a short sleeve onesie and nothing else. (meanwhile

I'm bundled up in sweat shirts and thick socks) Night time is thin cotton pj's

(long sleeve and leg but open foot because I have the fan on). She has been in

the helmet since the 18th (8 days). We did not experience nearly this amount of

sweating in the last helmet which was worn in August - November and it was much

hotter then. How much longer should this last? Our check up is not until next

Thursday (Feb 3)

2)She's already figured out how to get the helmet off by grabbing the back lip

and pulling it up over her head like taking off a shirt. Any advice on keeping

the helmet on? Our clinician said my daughter was not old enough to figure this

out and yet she's barely been in the helmet a week when this started.

3)The helmet is loose enough that a child at daycare is able to grab hold and

twist the helmet enough so the my daughter's ear is folded over itself and

trapped under the helmet. Daycare is dealing with the child (actually my

daughter's teacher banned the child to his bed until the office agrees to move

him out of our room - there have been several issues with this child), but is

the helmet too loose? I know some looseness is supposed to be there but her

first helmet was not that loose.
