Hi,

We've been seeing Judy Ann for my 5.5 year old. I would give her a

try. I would also make an appointment with Dr. Rosen for when he

comes back. You may want to consider a PT eval and if you do, let me

know, since I have a rec for one in Palo Alto. I also know a chiro in

Felton.

Here are some recommendations I received from Bay Area email groups:

CST:

Judy Ann and she is located at 1220 Pear Ave., Suite I in Mountain

View. Her phone number is 650-575-1408.

excellent cranio sacral therapist is Judy Ann in Mountain View. She has

a lot of experience with torticollis and with babies/children in

general. 650-575-1408

Good luck!

Hi,

Does anyone know of a good CST practitioner in the South Bay (Northern

California) that has experience working on an infant with Plagio. I

found a couple of names from the Upledger website but was trying to

find out if anyone has any experiences. I did a search in the group and

found a recommendation for Mark Rosen based on a prior discussion, but

his is on vacation till June 1st.

My son is 4mths old and has plagio with flattening on the right side of

his head with some ear asymmetry.

I was reading that CST could help. We have brought him to CIRS in Palto

Alto for an initial evaluation and based on the discussion with the

Ortho decide that we would try aggressive repositioning for a month to

see if there was any improvements.

In addition to the repositioning I would like to try CST to see if that

together with the reposition could get us the improvements without

having to band.

Thanks

For CST, we have worked with Germaine Weaver, PT (831)458-1516...she's

great...has a home-office in Santa Cruz.

Glad to hear it! Hope it helps.

I knew about Germaine, I believe from 's emails. However, I

realized it would be far. Judy is really convenient for us too and she

is easy to schedule with. I've been happy with her so far for our 5.5

year old. Also, especially with a young plagio baby, I would not want

to travel to Santa Cruz for fear the car seat would make the plagio and

neck worse.

My younger son got results with Dr. Rosen, but it takes awhile to get

in. We waited almost 2 months for our first appointment.

We also go to CIRS Palo Alto and have been extremely happy with them.
