Molly, the reason I didn't go with Hanger (besides Cranial Tech's reputation) is

because the orthotist at Hanger in Edison, NJ, told me the band was passive. I

don't know if ALL Hanger helmets are, but that's what I was told. So I went with

the DOC Band for my son.
