To Bay Area celiacs-

I need your help. has managed the elementary age kids

program at the Stanford celiac conference the last two years. She did a

wonderful job and was eager to work again this year, but is now scheduled

for surgery and will still be in the hospital on Oct. 8. I need to find

someone else to run the kids program.

Ideally the person would know about the gluten free diet and work well with

kids. Please think of anyone who might do this, either as a volunteer or

as a paid consultant. Perhaps an elementary school teacher?

I can't cancel the kids program. I can hire Stanford students to be

helpers, but I need to find someone to manage the program all day.

made a lot of plans and has notes on what to do, I have a few

speakers lined up for the kids, we can pay for any supplies needed. The

kids program can be run as planned, which is a circus theme, or it

can be changed to something else.
