Guest guest
Hi, I went to Arimed and was not impressed by Mohammed. I felt like he had no idea what my daughter was diagnosed with, because he kept saying she had scaphocephaly (I know this may be spelled incorrectly) and mild plagiocephaly. According to his measurements, her CVA is 8mm off and three months ago it was 17mm by Cranial Tech. Is this possible with repositioning and limited use of items? Anyway, I was not convinced of his expertise. Is there anywhere in NYC that is reputable to take her to? The company suggested: Monroe Orthotics and Prosthetics Tanner, CPO 4015 14th Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11219 Toll-Free: 888-435-6382 Phone: 845-782-9191 Know anything about them? I need information soon. My time is running out. She's between 8-9 months with the 9th month Jan 9th. Thanks.
Guest guest
why not take her back to CT? I looked back in old messages a little and saw two positive reports about kidisplint in NY (brooklyn I think). No negatives, but there aren't may references. -christine sydney, 3.5 yrs, starband grad > > Hi, > > I went to Arimed and was not impressed by Mohammed. Guest guest
That is exactly who I would have recommended. Tanner is the owner and is VERY involved with his Plagio patients as well as Cranio patients. I can put you in touch with the owner via email or telephone if that would make you feel a bit more comfortable but as far as NY goes.....I highly recommend them. If you are on Facebookm - they have a Facebook where they discuss Positional Plagio treatment. Email me if you want to discuss. Syddesi2@... Guest guest
Dear Ms. Galm: I see that you recommended Tanner. I spoke with him on Friday and set up an appointment for this coming week. Did you use him personally? Do you know anyone that did? What was the outcome of the treatment? Thank you for the recommendation. I have spent months doing research to find the best care and make sure I'm making the right decision (while fighting her physicians for a prescription). This whole process is overwhelming. We've decided to band, so I hope he's the best choice for us. I can't travel to Paramus for Cranial Tech. Thanks for your help.
