Guest guest
Hi! It sounds like this is a common situation! My husband was really hoping our little guy wouldn't need the DOC Band, so he was pretty bummed when it turned out he did. I was kind of surprised at his reaction because he's always such a positive person. He half-joking said that we just wouldn't take any pictures of Chace for the next three months! I tried not to get upset because I knew that was just his initial reaction, and that there was no WAY that was going to happen. Wouldn't you know, the day Chace got it my husband must've taken 10 pictures of him on his camera phone. ( " Well, if I had known how adorable he was gonna look in it! " ) It's been such a great experience, and even though we had to foot the entire $3000 bill (OUCH), I STILL am happy every day we did it. I hadn't even realized how much I worried about his flatness till we got it and I didn't feel guilty every time he was on his back! :-) Good luck with your experience, and I just KNOW your husband will totally come around! It'll probably just take a few days. (I think as moms we prepare for these things in advance, and they just need a bit more time.)
