Guest guest
Hi all: I'm fairly new here... my son is almost 6 months old and we are investigating treatment for his " moderate to severe " plagio (as dubbed by Cranial Technologies evaluation last week.) We have a visit with a specialist next week to give us a medical opinion and prescription if they concur. Prior to pretty much deciding to band our little guy, I'd said that I would like to try any alternative therapies first, and I have actually found a therapist with experience in CST for plagio (which is a miracle since we live in the middle of nowhere.) Anyway, I'm curious about this. Does it work? What is the treatment like? How can a once a week massage-type therapy work as well as 23 hours a day? I have a few friends who are physical therapists and they have warned me off of this. Plus, I'm afraid to try it and delay beginning the band therapy (which it sounds like is a sure thing...) Thanks for any insights!
