lump under skin from helmet

Evan got his DOC band on Feb 11th and had his first adjustment appt on Feb 18th.

A day or two after the adjustment, he developed a bump on the back of his head.

Prior to the shaving down of the helmet he did not have any red spots or

problems. We went back to CT and were instructed to leave the band off until it

went away.

Well we called CT again to let them know that the bump had gone down, but is

definitely not gone, and were told to try the helmet again and do frequent

checks to see if the bump gets worse. He had the helmet off for 3 1/2 days.

The bump is right on the center ridge on the back of Evan's head. It feels like

a lump under the skin - almost like a small cyst. It started larger and is now

the size/shape of a pea. There was a small white head on it that seems to be

fading, and the skin on it is slightly read. We thought at first that it might

be an ingrown hair from rubbing.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?
