Guest guest
Hello, My daughter was banded at 6 1/4 months and has been on the band for 2 months. Our insurance did not cover it and we are planning to start the appealing process. There is a SLIGHT possibility of needing a 2nd band but the way we see it is that she's made progress enough that we are happy with the results. We KNOW we are doing what's best for her and we are not strict to the point that it must be PERFECT so I think we'll be ok with a bit more progress and no more band. Since I see there are a lot of smart people in this board, so I wanted your opinion on her progress since Im clueless and would like someone else's thoughts outside from the CT specialist. Here are the measurements: ORIGINAL Cranial Width: 126mm Cranial Length: 142mm Cephalic Index: 88.7 Standard Deviation +2.3 Cranial Vault Asymmetry: 19mm Mid-Face Asymmetry: 4mm Skull-Base Asymmetry: 10mm 2 MONTHS LATER Cranial Width: 127mm Cranial Length: 148mm Cephalic Index: 85.8 Standard Deviation +1.6 Cranial Vault Asymmetry: 6mm Mid-Face Asymmetry: 0mm Skull-Base Asymmetry: 3mm I will post her pics (if I figure out how to do it) in the files under the same Subject line. Thanks in advance!!! -
