Hello - I live in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. I have a recommendation

of someone who does Starbands but can not find someone who does DOC bands - do

you know anyone in the area?

We are having her measurements done today. She is turning 5 months this week so

if the DOC band is quicker, I'd rather go with that, rather than going with

something that will take much longer.

Thanks for your help!

Jenn

Here is where you can go to find the nearest DOC band provider:http://www.cranialtech.com/index.php?option=com_content & view=category & layout=blog & id=69 & Itemid=53If you are willing to travel it looks like the nearest locations are Paramus NJ or Madison CT. If those locations are too far to travel to there is a local STARband provider:Harry J. Lawall and SonHarry J. Lawall Jr., CPO P. Hi there,We went with the Starband (Lawall in NE Philly (we live in Paoli outside of KoP). The nearest DOC band provider is at least a 2 hour drive away in NJ, outside of NYC. I initially wanted to go with DOC b/c I heard of the great results, but then the more I read, the more I wanted to go with the Starband.. largely b/c they get equally good results and you only need one.. it appears most babies, particularly when starting at a young age, will need 2 bands.. which we really didn't want to pay for (also our insurance covered Lawall, DOC was out of network, which would have been a battle). We started our son at 4.5 months, he had severe brachy and plagio, and finished at 11 months. His head is beautiful.. it's better than his older brothers I think! So I would say, make

the decision based on a number of factors.. for me.. the at least 2 hour drive each way to get the DOC, plus the possibility of additional cost, was not worth it.. even if the results may or may not have been quicker.Good luck.. please let me know if you have any questions.. I'd be happy to answer.GenevieveFrom: jlyons001 <jlyons001@...>Plagiocephaly Sent: Tue, February 15, 2011 8:54:42 AMSubject: doc
