Hair condition and helmets

My daughters hair has started getting frizzy in the back of the helmet which is

where she gets the sweatiest. I first switched our baby shampoo to a

moisturizing baby shampoo and that helped the frizzy/fuzzy -ness. Now it seems

to be getting worse again with the increasing temperatures. Is it the sweat

causing problems? The rest of her hair is fine, silky and smooth like it has

always been, but the back is starting to look like straw. Is there anything I

can do to help? If I use a spray-on/leave-in conditioner, would that affect the

foam in our DOCBand? If it would affect the foam, what about a conditioner I can

rinse out in the shower? Any other ideas?
