Need advice re: Painting a DOC Band

Hi,

I'm new here. My daughter will have her 3D image scan for her DOC band this

coming week, and we'll receive the band in mid-March.

I would like to paint the band, but I need some advice for those of you who have

tried it. A few questions:

- What type of primer did you use?

- How did you apply the primer and paint? Brush? Roller? Something else?

- Did the paint look " streaky " at all?

- How many coats of paint did you have to apply?

- If I mess up, is there something I can use to safely remove the paint?

I'm a little worried that I'll ruin the band... not good. A few words of

encouragement, or warnings if necessary, would be very much appreciated!
