Guest guest
I don't think it is common because they last longer. I don't actually remember in other posted cases. But yours is a case that illustrates that if the head is severe enough, it might be needed. My daughter started her only band at 95 percent, so I would definately do a second band if I were you. second starband? Hi! My now almost 11 month old son has been in a starband for 3 and a half months and is coming close to outgrowing it but his brachy is still somewhere around 95%. He looks much better than when we started, but he still is noticeably flat in the back. We're thinking of doing a second band. Does anyone on here have experience with a second starband? Guest guest
I dunno.... it might be considered a commonplace occurrence, if you include manufacturing and orthotist errors. That's why we needed a second, and this, too, sounds very suspicious to me. I would contact Orthomerica in the method they have established for this purpose, to bring more expertise in on the case. http://www.orthomerica.com/products/cranial/faq_parents.htm#faq21 They also can tell you who's doing the greatest volume of work in your area, which may or may not be an indication of expertise, if you want to change horses. -- Thad Launderville Montpelier, VT Clara, age 2, STARband grad On Apr 13, 2010, at 7:43 AM, wrote: > > > I don't think it is common because they last longer.
