Guest guest
I got mine. I just asked them for a copy and told them I planned on appealing the insurance. I think they try to minimize the numbers as well, but really how else can you measure progress? They didn't give me a hard time at all. We are being told that they provide measurements for insurance information only. Our insurance provider is not covering us so we had to pay cash. But if I paid $3500 out of pocket, I think its my right to know what measurements she has and being able to understand if she's improving. Any thoughts? I go for her 1st adjustment on Friday and would like to get measurements. Thanks in advance for your help!
Guest guest
Oh, I completely agree!! They should give you the measurements! Why would they give some random stranger with an insurance company measurements, but not the parent?! And like you said.... if you are paying ALL that money, they NEED to do what you ask! Stand firm, I say you are in the right to want to know any and everything you can about what is going on with your child!!! Guest guest
I just asked for a copy of the paper they sent to the insurance and got it from CT with no questions asked. It is in their computer database so you could always go above their head to corporate and they can print it out from their computer and mail it to you. Or if they sent it to try to get approved even if it was denied they had to send it to the primary care doctor/pediatrician and I am sure they could give you a copy. Guest guest
That's just ridiculous! You have a right to know what her measurements are. I called and asked for measurements over the phone after our consultation(February 2010, VA location) and the clinician shared all of them. I did not ask about measurements during the consultation because at the time, I didn't know anything about them. I did some research and called CT back and they had no problem sharing them. From: R <rrican1@...>Plagiocephaly Sent: Thu, August 26, 2010 8:59:15 AMSubject: Cranial Technologies not giving me measurements?
