Guest guest
My LO just got his DOC band yesterday and at first, everything was suprisingly good. He is definitely the type that likes things the way that he likes them, so, we were definitely worried! Everything at the CT office was fine, the clinician had to shave it down twice, and he actually was asleep when she was testing it on him between sizings. When it was time for him to go to sleep, he went to sleep fine in the band while nursing and then I transferred him to his crib. He went down fine. However, he proceeded to get up maybe every 60-90 minutes all night and every time I would set him back down he would cry after I had rocked him back to sleep. Before the band, he would get up every 3 hours or so and would fuss if sometimes I placed him in a position that he did not like, which lately he has been wanting to be on his side or tummy. We were both exhausted today and I just want to make this situation as painless as possible for my little guy. Any ideas, or, does this seem pretty common, since I tend to read about how great the babies adapt to the bands? Thanks!
