Any advice to prep my child b/f getting her band?

My daughter is 7 1/2 months old and getting her star band on 6/16. I am trying

to be positive about it, there are a lot worse things we could be dealing with.

And, from what I have read, sometimes it is the parents who have more trouble

adjusting. Let's hope that is the case. Lily loves to sleep with footed pjs,

wrapped in a blanket (even though we live in south FL.) Should I start to get

her used to sleeping w/o her blanket due to the increase she will have in body

temp? Any other advice to help her prior to banding?
