CSEA Announces Partnership with Posada Foundation and CAPPS for 5k Run/Walk MINEOLA: CSEA Nassau Local 830, Nassau County's largest public service union with 10,000 members, has announced that they will be holding their First Annual 5k Run/Walk on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Nassau Community College in Garden City. They have partnered with the Posada Foundation for Craniosynostosis and CAPPS (Craniosynostosis and Positional Plagiocephaly Support Inc.) The race will be open to all CSEA Local 830 members, as well as the entire Long Island community and beyond. Posada will be donating memorabilia as raffle prizes. Appearances are expected by 's wife , and possibly himself depending on the Yankees playoff fortunes. Other features will be a kids' fun run, best costume contest, information fair for sponsors, refreshments, and awards to age group winners. The race is certified by United States Track and Field (USATF) on a brand new course at Nassau Community College. CSEA Local 830 President is Jerry Laricchiuta.
