Hi and welcome to the group. My daughter will be 4 this months, but when she was

in her band we lived in the bay area and went to Palo Alto for treatment (CIRS).

I think there are one or two moms in sacramento area in the group now. When you

do go for a band make sure the provider has good experience. If there is a local

ortho without a lot of experience I would recommend driving a bit further. It

can make a big difference. Please let us know what the specialist says about

your daughter's head.

Hi Des.

We are new to the group as well (started up last week) and are in Folsom, so not

far from you. Welcome! Our 8 month old son has a similar history to

your daughter's, except that I didn't do the research early on and just

discovered all about plagio last week! I was continually brushed off by our

doctors when I brought the shape of 's head to their attention. Just

today he had a neurology appt. and got a referral for banding. So, here we

go...we hope to keep moving forward quickly and have him in a band by New

Year's!

What specialist were you referred to? Someone in Sac?

I look forward to hearing about your journey! When is your appt. with the

specialist? Good luck!
