Guest guest
Hello all, I am new to this group...and Plagiocephaly in general...so I thought I would give a little introduction. My name is and my husband is Chris. We have a beautiful 7 month old baby girl named Zoey. Yesterday she was referred to a specialist to start our journey with her Plagio. At 2 months we noticed her head was looking a little flat on the right side and talked to our pediatrician about it. He said it is not uncommon in the first several months and that we would keep an eye on it. I did quite a bit of research on Plagio and found that we could do repositional therapy at home. We began with sleep repositioning and turned her head in carseats, swings, etc. At her 4 month appt. her doc still said it was ok. My concern kept increasing. At her 6 month he still did not take it further. Finally, I made an appt. with her doc so we could get a referral to a specialist. That was yesterday. He totally agreed with us that it was time to take the next step. So here we are. I was so happy to find this group and all the information on the site. We live in Auburn California and I would really like to connect with other families going through the same thing...or those who have come through it all successfully.
