I noticed the same thing the first day or two of my daughters DOC band. I called and they said it is normal and would probably go away after her first adjustment. It did! She has had it 8 weeks now and occasionally when it shifts it squishes her eye a bit. Also that eye sometimes looks a bit smaller with her band on. But it goes away when the band is off. I have noticed that the front of the band on his forehead seems to be pushing his right eye down so that it is " squishing " it. Is this normal? Our orthoist trimmed it a bit and said that it was okay and would correct as the helmet found its place on his forehead. Is that true?
