Chiropractor for torticollis?

Hi. My sister in law's 2 month old has torticollis and a friend of hers told her that she was referred to a chiropractor for her son who had it and after 4 times of him "massaging" his neck, it improved and there was no need for PT. But, I've never heard of that as treatment for torticollis. Has anyone else and if so, what's your experience with it?Thank you.
