Do Docbands work faster than Starbands?

Does anyone know if one works quicker than the other? we went for both consults

and they told us that my baby would need a doc band for 8-12 weeks (and probably

not a second one). we were told he would need the starband for 4-5 months. we

went for both consults on the same day. was anyone else told something

similar? does anyone know why it's so conflicting?
