Guest guest
I have posted here before - my son was in a helmet for 15 weeks age 6 months to 10 months and went from 9mm to 7mm. Not great. But he looked pretty good and his face looked great. As time progressed - his facial asymmetry which was not at ALL noticeable when he got the helmet off - has become more noticeable. He is now 21 months old. I freaked out earlier this summer - was trying to get him back in a helmet - that did not pan out. I did have him re-scanned in late June and found out he's now at 5.9mm - so he improved 1.1 on his own. That was good news. It may be that as his face thinned out and is now less baby-mushy - was what not at all noticeable before - is. I think it's also as his skull has hardened and thickened a bit - the side with the forehead bossing pushed down his eye socket on that side - just a little bit. But enough that now, from certain angles and in some photographs - his eyes appear asymmetrical.
Guest guest
Hmm. Does he have tort? I've heard of facial asymmetry without plagio caused by tort. Other than that, I don't know. I do think you're right about working on accepting it. I have a feeling I'm going to be in the same situation in 8 months. I find it's hard to know when you've done what you can and should let go and when you should keep pressing. I wish I had something more helpful to say. Hang in there. > > I have posted here before - my son was in a helmet for 15 weeks age 6 months to 10 months and went from 9mm to 7mm. Not great. But he looked pretty good and his face looked great.
