Guest guest
I claimed it as a medical deduction on my taxes and had no problem with it. I also claimed all of my doctor visit co-pays as well as expenses for travelling (mileage, bridge, tolls, etc.) (check with the IRS for the deduction rate, it is appx. 49 cents per mile travelled). Keep in mind that you can only deduct medical expenses if the total dollar figure exceeds a certain percentage (somewhere around 7%) of your adjusted gross income. I've been thinking that the cost of a helmet might be a legitimate tax deduction for medical expenses. Anyone know if that's true? Has anyone tried it? ------------------------------------For more plagio info
