Guest guest
Hi, My son is 9 1/2 months old and had an appointment with a neurologist today because he has develomental delays. He has torticollis and doesn't sit or roll over, etc. We have been working with a PT for three months and he is slowly making progress. He has been wearing his Starband for three months and his head looks great. I'm hoping the ears will line up a little better. The pediatric neurologist said he didn't have neurological or muscular problems. But, she made it very clear that she doesn't like the band and that she thought it might be the reason for some of his delays because it might be to heavy for his head. She said we should take it off. Am I crazy for thinking that is is a ridiculous? My son had delays well before we used the Starband. I am very concerned and I think we are going to get a second opinion. I'd appreciate any thoughts. Can anyone recomend another pediatric neurologist in the DC/VA/MD area? Thank you for reading this!
