Guest guest
Our son Connor was fitted for a Hanger helmet 7 weeks ago and we have felt like it doesn't fit right since day one. We have been back to the orthotist on five occasions. Three were for scheduled visits and two were because we felt like the helmet was pushing to hard on this ears and eye. Every time we visit she tells us that the helmet is right, but that it is rotating and she just has to add another pad to stop the rotation. There are now 4 locations that have pads in this helmet and we are concerned that it is not working correctly. The most frustrating part is that she is the only person to talk to and she keeps saying that it is not pushing on his eye or ears, when we can clearly see that it is. I have attached pictures to find out if anyone agrees or disagrees with us. I don't know if we need to go to a new facility or just trust this person. She says that she is the number 2 person in all of Hanger to do the volume of helmets that she does. Also now it looks like the front pad is pushing in on his eye and he is getting a bulge over his left ear. You can see in the pictures that it is the left eye that is getting pulled on. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
