My son has torticollis and plagiocephaly. Both were developed inutero and were not going to be fixed by repositioning. Our families couldn't see it either but now that his head is correcting (been in DOC band for 7 weeks) they have noticed a change in his head. It is defintely worth it.

I agree with the other post--definately have him evaluated. I wouldn't rely on your families unless they are your pediatrician and orthotist and have evaluated your child. Most families mean well and don't know why it matters. >> My son has been attending physical therapy for torticollis. The PT was concerned about his head shape, for both plagio and brachy. The plagio has resolved due to repositioning techniques, but he continues to have brachy. Our pediatrician is not concerned, but PT recommends that we see an othotist. We are not sure what to do. My husband is not really concerned, but the shape does bother me some. Our families are telling us not to do it, and no one seems to notice unless we point it out. Any

advice?? Thanks.>
