Guest guest
They bake from scratch at that location. The flour hangs in the air and settles on everything. Obviously for you, it is just too dangerous to risk the cross contamination. I’m so sorry! And I so feel your pain! There are these really marvelous macaroons that are made in a Jewish bakery, that I can’t have. Connie From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of tverzosa@... Sent: Thursday, September 01, 2005 4:56 PM Subject: [ ] Glutened! Help. I had a reaction this afternoon after eating a chocolate a co-worker gave me. She went and got cookies from a bakery (Citizen Cake) and brought me a chocolate that they made there. It was a little square of chocolate with one hazelnut, a couple of rice crips and a strip of some kind of orange dried fruit. It was exquisite! But about an hour later I got stomach cramps and diarrhea. I'm trying to contact the restaurant, but haven't been able to yet. Any ideas? Does anyone from the Bay Area have experience with this place? TIA, Trudy
Guest guest
Man! I was afraid of that! Although I may risk it again for something without the rice crisps, just to be sure. It was a pretty mild reaction - cramps and diarrhea. It was over soon after it began. Trudy -------------- Original message -------------- They bake from scratch at that location.
