Guest guest
You did not mention price. Bistro Liaison Shattuck is quite good, just explain to the hostess or the chef and they will guide you. $$$ I’ve never been glutened here Zax’s Taverna on Telegraph also $$$ Or for the real Berkeley Experience on Shattuck – Café Gratitude for raw vegan where a celiac can eat everything on the menu!! They have switched to GF soy sauce. None of these are a short walking distance to the campus, but all are walkable if you are willing to walk a distance. Got any suggestions? Thanks for the help. Carol Orinda P.S. Is there a Bay Area restaurant guide that I don't know about?

Guest guest
I recommend Ajanta on Solano or Cafe Gratitude on Shattuck (be sure to ask if there's soy sauce or miso in the dishes though, these are the two gluten-contianing ingredients they use in some dishes where you'd never expect them). -- Come visit my food blog...Gluten-Free By The Bayhttp://www.glutenfreebythebay.com
