Guest guest
Over 10 years ago See’s told me that only their suckers were GF. We had been eating See’s candy before I found that out, and it turned out to be the cause of the mild symptoms my kids were having. Then about 5 years ago they started to increase their GF list, and I once again tried See’s candy, sticking to the ones on their GF list, only to have the same symptoms occur. I gave up on See’s at that point and haven’t tried them since. I don’t know if they have changed anything since then, but I’m not tempted to try them again. In Santa Cruz you can get great handmade chocolates at MacKenzie’s Candy Kitchen, and we have never had a problem with them. In the past, when I visited the local store, they were very cautious and recommended that I not try the candy, partly because wheat starch was used on the conveyor belts in the factory. So this is really good news for candy lovers Regards, Eula
