Guest guest
A while back there was some discussion on this list about a doctor that " specializes " in helping the self-diagnosed make a more educated guess regarding their celiac status. Does anyone have that doctor's name/information? I think it was something like or . I'm two years into the gluten-free diet as a self-diagnosed celiac (an educated guess based on research and the fact that my mother is a nurse) and subjecting myself to gluten for the sake of a " true diagnosis " is highly undesirable. At the same time, if it turns out I don't have celiac, I'd like to figure out what exactly is my problem. Along the same line, can anyone recommend a good general doctor either in the east bay or on the peninsula? I finally have health insurance for the first time in my adult life (I'm only 23, but still...) and am completely lost when it comes to finding a good doctor who at least knows what celiac disease is. Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance,

Guest guest
Thanks for the info! We like her...she did some work on my older son (NT) so I was thinking of calling her office anyway now that she is in her own practice.Jun 23, 2009 10:27:04 AM, wrote: Dr. and her staff have treated my ASD son so well!
