Irish visitor needs restaurants in Palo Alto area

Hi there,

I was forwarded your e-mail as somebody who may be able to give me

advice on eating out in the areas of San Mateo, City, Palo Alto

and Redwood City.

As you can see from my mail below I am based in Dublin, Ireland and

have been recently diagnosed as a Coeliac.

My job requires me to travel to the US (specifically San Francisco)

and I naively thought a lot of restaurants would cater for Coeliacs or

offer Gluten Free menus.

And as I am in a hotel I don't have the option of preparing my own

food so need to eat out every day!

I have eaten in the Outback restaurant and it was okay but was hoping

I could get a wider choice. I have eaten in two restaurants that

didn't even know what Coeliac or Gluten Free meant so I took my

chances and am definitely suffering for it today.

So any help you can give would be appreciated.
