Just ask for the GF menu when you get seated. They are chinese/asian style, nationwide, and I look for these and Outback Steakhouses whenever I have to travel on business. These two will really help get you through the trip! Menus and locations for both are available at: http://pfchangs.com/ http://www.outback.com/ -- Joe http://sanbeiji.com/
Guest guest
Hello I originally posted about PF changs and my brother working there because I have had many talks to him about celiac disease. MOST people that work at restaurants are young, under paid, and over worked. They dont care much about the food they are cooking. Just getting through their shift. I HAVE Celiac disease. I do NOT eat out anywhere because you can never be 100% sure how well people people understand the severity of this disease. Not every PF Changs is the same. They all have different employees. Just wanted to share the info I had. I no longer go on group lunches with the office and boss. When I first went gluten free they thought they could order me something that I would eat when they got back. I told them not to waste their money but they did. The salad they brought me back had crutons and seasoned chicken on it after special requests were made and the chef promosed to cook it with seasoning. And Crutons?? I was not mad I just know most people dont understand even if they say they do. I live in vacaville and a new steakhouse has opened here. This is a place I may try. They have family with celiac disease and I was told by the owner if I call three days in advance he will go over a menu with me and keep the food seperated from the main food. I will not try it still for a couple of months from now but will post if I do.
