Guest guest Posted April 23, 2007 Report Share Posted April 23, 2007 hi all. sorry i haven't been as active as i would like to be. but good news - i received a job offer and it's back in the bay area! goodbye, Chico! so i got the job offer last week and have already started with the new company - more on that in a later post, though. lucky for me, my boss had a previous manager with CD!!! so while she isn't ultra familiar with it, she understands what it's about. that being said, the boss already feels badly about my not being able to eat the morning pastries provided. she told me if i can give her a few names of either 1. places that have gluten free meals (preferably to go) and 2. a caterer who provides gf meals, she would be happy to have lunches available to me during our lunch meetings. yippee - a boss who is understanding! she also told me if i need extra time at lunch or breaks or anything, just to let her know. my new office is located in san jose near the shark tank and am not very familiar with the area at all! basically i'm at race and the alameda. thanks in advance! carla who is so glad to be back in the south bay!
